Really like this, bare bones version, you want it to carry on.

Horrible. Just a barebones version. I guess it kept them busy.

Although, they did get rid of the backup vocals which is a plus.

I never liked the original, however the Sasha remixes are the only
versions I can stand to listen to.

well, i did say i liked the sasha remixes.

but i'm so tired of them doing 'west end girls'.

why won't they remake 'opportunities (lets make lots of money)', which is my favorite song
from them.

i wouldn't mind some new mixes of that song.
or even a cd-singles, with all the original mixes on it.

They did, recent tours featured a lovely update of Opportunities. And lots of other classics were reworked completely. I’m not scared, left to my own devices, rent… the list is endless.

Maybe the Smithsonian actually asked them to do “West End Girls”.

Some info from Pete on how the (just vocal I think) track was recorded.
Everything goes to an appropriate group, some of which have some overall processing, which then go to the master bus for more processing!

I must admit my initial reaction was also "not West End girls again".
But I think they made a wonderful lock down version.

It starts kind of flat but it gets better after the keyboard solo: at that point Neil starts singing without trying to imitate the original and Chris goes bonkers. Nice remix.

I guess from tomorrow the new Government guidelines mean in theory Neil and Chris would be able to meet in person and spend time at each other’s houses.
Woof.

Here’s hoping! And don’t call me Bubble!
