Both David's mixes are good, though I haven't been able to make up my mind which one is better.
The other mix is crap.
New boy is awesome. Reminded me Between two islands.

The second of David’s mixes sounds like it might be my favourite version of the song.

I don't really agree with the demo-ish feel comments about New Boy, sounds like a lovely and lush ballad, the drum programming is interesting, especially in the second part when it goes all a bit contemporary pop.

Still haven't given a spin to the Mano Le Tough remix, but the two David Jackson remixes are both awesome in its own right - the only complaint I have is the timing of the verses, somehow they don't flow as they should, you get that nagging feeling that the "mathematics" of it are wrong. Other than that, especially the choruses, EXCELLENT!
Have a look at my taste in music:

That’s the thing about negative energy, about hatred. It can be positive. It throws into relief all the things you know you like. It tells you, by elimination, what you’re about. Sometimes you can only define yourself by what you hate. Hatred becomes an inspiration; it makes you think, “What I’m doing now I totally believe in, and I don’t care what other people say.” Guided by hatred, you don’t have to follow the herd. - Neil Tennant

Mano Le Tough remix for me....sounds like New Order....when they were good

New Boy is a good song, typical b side material for me.

New boy sounds predictable and pedestrian

Hope it gets better with repeated listens

Not hopeful currently

I find it very similar to the one in Betrayed from 24 years ago.
