Well, the radio edit is great, the song itself is not. The title "I don't wanna" works fine for these days, we should stay at home,

Indeed.... they really lucked out, if you want to look at it that way.
I sincerely *love* Disco 2 and listen to it straight through regularly.

Hearing the radio edit, I actually agree, this is. really good choice for a single. We were spoiled by all the good songs on the album. "I don't wanna go out".

They have done a good job of the radio edit, I have re-created the Radio Edit myself and played it a few times and it flows really well.

This radio edit is better than the album version.

Has that happened before?

(Setting the bar as an "edit" rather than being remixed for the single version...)

Arguably, Being Boring is.

And, to my ears, I Don't Know What You Want But I Can't Give It Anymore definitely is.

I think Geowayne did a poll about single/album versions not too long ago?

Retro. :)

Clearly I'm in the minority then.

I think this edit is s total waste of space. Very disappointed.

Hmmm. Why though? The virus doesn't last on non-living objects for more than 3 days. Did they cut all flights and ships that deliver post in the country? Did they order that no overseas post to send items to them?
Three days ago the goverment stopped ALL the "commercial" flights from overseas..I´m not sure how this affect the flights that deliver shippings...but I already knew that all packages arriving from China were sent back since at least one month ago :/. Maybe it´s a nonsense decition..very possible..but sadly we´re all used to that kind of things here... :/.
Anyway...we´ll see how true is that.I ordered the 'I don´t wanna' 12" and CD from a local re-seller..so let´s see if he can get them or not in April. Time will tell.
This is not my signature.

I must be in that minority too. Such a b-side this track.

The two things that bother me are the barely-there chorus and that dated electro-revivalist sound from early 2000s (think Ladytron).

Well neither Jealousy nor It's alright are edits per se. They are complete reworkings, which was quite often the case back in the good old days.

Which is exactly why this radio edit is such a wasted opportunity. Look at that list of awesomeness!

Yes, I was refering to mere edits - not remixes ending up as single versions.

I agree with you on "I don't know what you want but I can't give it anymore". The album version is too long (has some unnecessary instrumental parts towards the ending). So in this case the radio edit does the song a favour.

But I'm curious on why you think the radio edit of "Being boring" is better than the album version. My personal opinion is that the album version's intro is brilliant, and that the radio edit ends too abruptly (a sudden fade-out).

The album version is just a mere edit of the extended mix, a masterpiece... following that line PSB could have become the Pink Floyd of pop music.
