I keep thinking while listening that this is the album we thought we were getting when Nightlife came out.

I personally prefer Nightlife, but can see it might have less continuity for playing without interruption

"Wedding in Berlin" is the worst thing here, and is still miles ahead than some abominations from "Nightlife", such a mixed bag of a record. This is a consistent, lovely album cherry-picked from random points in their career, and I mean that as a highest compliment. Some comparisons here are no different than every single review mentioning "West End girls" for the bazillionth time. And yeah, having a blurry cover, that helps lazy comparisons too.

Another eerie similarity with Nightlife: during the recording of this record, they also worked on a musical with Billie Trix
