Good luck to those trying to get a signed copy. I’m not bothered by it and ordering the two books from Amazon, and saving over a tenner in the process.

I do wish they chose better cover photos for these books
I agree Rashomon. They could have taken better cover photographs. Thank you for letting us know PSBfannyc. :D I won't be ordering (I am skint anyway to be honest) as I managed to get a signed book of Literally when it first came out at the Claude Gill book signing all those years ago. My brilliant mum took me to that book signing. My mum had the day off work - I am sure I took the day off school too. All those long years ago. I must have been around 13 or 14 years old.
PMSL!! Good on you Marie! And to your mum too. Those memories will last forever, what a lovely thing to do.

I succumbed and got "Literally" as a compromise. One signed book will be fine, and it seems like better value for money. The other one I can get from BookDepository anytime, and 30% cheaper. Also very relieved that Rough Trade didn't charge immediately, although now I'm anxious if my card number is correct, teehee. They're really sucking us dry in the past three years, aren't they? "Annually 2020" is also just around the corner.

Slipcase to how both books available exclusively on the PSB store. Standard editions only by the looks of it.

So... signed books sold out at all 3 book stores.
Also the slipcase limited edition on the official store also sold out after 3 hours.
So well done to those who got it.

The slipcase is quite nice. Like the design of the whole package.

Damn! Why these items are always SO LIMITED? Desperatedly want this slipcase edition, but... simply I was too late. Feels like they're feeding mostly profiteers, not fans.
"I think it’s an amazingly good album, I’ve got to be honest with you. It’s one of the albums I feel most proud of. But for people who don’t really know us, and have a sort of an idea about us, ‘Electric’ is more what the Pet Shop Boys are meant to be."

I thought the slip case limited edition box set may sell out after a couple of days, but not a few hours.
I managed to get mine but only by chance.

The slip case has some New Order vibes.

Are these ones signed also? not sure if mentioned on the official site but would be weird if they were not.
you could say conventional ... and I could claim intentional

Lol the "limited-edition, Farrow-designed slipcase" was sold out in a few hours! I was thinking of ordering it but got puzzled by the apparent fact that it will not be signed (unlike the books sold by book stores separately).

I'd say no. They would have mentioned if they were signed since they mentioned that some books sold by other stores will be signed.

I hope that's not true, but fear the worst.

That sold out fast. I was on PSB site this morning and there was no new news then go back a few hours later to all of that. I had no chance.

A heads up of a couple of days might have been nice.

I have the original editions so I guess not overly bothered so I hope those who got them will be people enjoying these for the first time.

Maybe I'll reread my copies.

I am absolutely livid about missing out on the slipcase, was on the website today and nothing was mentioned, even when the post was put up for the books to but from rough trade etc there was nothing for the slipcase versions?,that must have appeared afterwards!

So many things announced at one time as well,we all lead busy lives and are not bound to surfing the official site 24/7,the real collectors miss out on items like this.an announcement of some sort should be made a day before or so.

Really unhappy about this.
