Remember how Integral was both the 4th single from Fundamental and the first single from Disco 4?

Retro. :)
Yesterday, when I was mad was 5th track from Very as a single but it was promotional single for Disco 2

Yesterday, when I was mad with all its bonus tracks and remixes was a far better album than Disco no.2

I'm doubtful: they announced the b-side for a fourth single from Hotspot. So there's no need to speculate about it, but I still have that idea on my mind that it could be The Lost Room as lead single of the famous dark techno album that will be called Disco5.
But it's not from Hotspot, so I'm obviously wrong.

You sound adamant about that, the single being an existing track from Hotspot but what leads you to believe that?
Here's the exact quote from the interview:
What’s on those early cassettes? Things we’ve never heard or different versions of songs we know?

Both. Something no one has ever heard is the first version of West End Girls with different music. it’s more punky, at the end I start shouting ‘Sometimes you’re better off dead’. It’s probably too embarrassing to release. One or two years ago I was listening to the cassette demos and I’ve always liked this song we wrote on at the time we wrote Rent. It’s called New Boy. I was at Smash Hits at the time. It’s about two girls on the phone in some suburban area, they see a new boy in town and are talking about him. It’s got a very strong melody, I’ve always remembered it. Anyway Chris and I finally finished it off after however many years and it’s the b-side of the next single. It was actually written the same day as Rent.
It doesn't say it's at all anything to do with Hotspot.

It does, however, say "the next single". One might indeed see that doesn't need to be from Hotspot. But, taking into account the other info about remixes for the next single completed, I would say it does.

But nothing has been proved.
I haven't seen the Mixmag quote. Any source on it?

Lyricwise I don't wanna is rather interesting because it reminds of a man I know too well. Musically it's a monotonous disaster.

Things we’ve already known:

- Neil announced the shingle choice on the last night of Musik.

It was less of an announcement more one of Neil's teaser leaks - he told me and a small group of fans!
What's for supper?

Does it matter what single choice they make these days? None of them are gonna chart well on the official charts. They're all gonna do well on the physical charts though.

I recommend to listen to the instrumental, 2nd verse (between 1:22 and 1:59). That's where it shines!
