No mention of a PSB commentary which is a shame.
Woof.

True. But other extras are still TBC, according to the BFI site. One can only hope.

BFI site also states: DVD region 2, bluray region B... Sucks for the ppl outside those regions.

Is it gonna include a toke, too? Would enhance the experience.

Guess PSB would have done it if the film was re-relased by themselves, not by the BFI. But now why would they bother (unless the BFI pays them enough for it)? Their commentary would certainly please fans but the sales would stay the same, so the BFI won't bother begging them either.

I seem to remember reading (probably said a little in jest) that PSB’s main reason for wanting a rerelease was so that they could record a commentary. I agree that given this is a BFI release it may have been harder to make happen. Or maybe it will still appear. I guess there’s also nothing to stop them recording something - a kind of podcast - that could be released separately but played at the same time as the film (I know, I’m clutching at straws).

Nice to see the official announcement, along with the advance screening including Q&A.
We'll see what the additional bonus features are.
Some blu-rays have very simple bonus features that are basically worthless, such as the trailer of the movie or a still photo gallery, or even some will have promotions for other movies which really is the worst.
I'm hoping for deleted scenes. As I said earlier the whole Heart music video was filmed with dialogue intended for It Couldn't Happen Here. Who knows if there are other quirky scenes and longer scenes that were cut.
Commentary from Neil and Chris would be fun. The commentary for Performance for instance is class. Imagine the reactions and insight they'd have about the film.

I think it's too bad it's a limited edition. It should be an ongoing release.

On the December 2018 screening Jack Bond told a story about the stolen negatives. I recall that Neil around the same time told somebody that the original film had previously been lost/stolen but then they learned of its whereabouts. Given these adventures I wouldn't hold my breath re deleted scenes however I want them.

In last year's Annually, Neil stated that the thought long lost, original tapes were just stored at Abbey Road.
