Yeah, didn't he say he only did it because his daughter was a fan, or something? To be fair to him, he is the best thing in it...
Yeah something like that rings a bell.
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|

Yeah Joss Ackland has been quite frank about his role in the film...

Well, when you're a tart you have to take the rough with the smooth. :naughty: Fortunately for him he's probably senile now so everything's cool. I can't see him without thinking of Lethal Weapon 2.

And I wrote that before watching his new video. Is it OK to call myself a total bell-end? That new video was absolutely delightful and very powerful. Thank you suburban boy for posting it.

I haven't watched this since it's original release...don't remember it being a pleasant experience so i'm a bit undecided as to if I will purchase this.

Here is the new BFI trailer. They've done quite a nice job cleaning it up for the 4K release.

Just watch the trailer, then the Always on my mind video and you don't need to put yourself through the film

Seriously though, that looks nicely scrubbed up... I remember the VHS print looked like it had been pulled out of a hedge. Cant wait to see Babs Windsor's fried egg bukk*ke in hi-def...

It looks pretty pristine. It really needs a Neil and Chris commentary though.

Yeah, if they've not been arsed to record a commentary yet, surely they could skype one in on lockdown? Give Neil something to do in between his tree photography and curry making....

I wonder if they replaced the demo of Always on my mind with the finished production or if it's just for the trailer.

Most certainly just the trailer. The original sound should be intact other than just remastered.

I ordered the Blu Ray. I have watched the movie on VHS for the last time around 1994. Seeing the trailer now, I think I might enjoy the movie more now than I did in the nineties.
