I’m particularly interested to read their explanation of exactly what this one’s about.

This is a fantastic track. The second half especially is pure Pet-Shop-Boy-Heaven! This needs a quality 6 or 7 minute extended version.

It’s a quintessential PSB b-side. Excellent
I sincerely *love* Disco 2 and listen to it straight through regularly.

The fact that we're not getting the usual two b-sides per single leads me to believe there is another collection of songs, be that another album, side-project, or EP in the offing.
Yes, but there is another single as well...isn’t there?

I feel like it will be Happy People with two b-sides.

Have they mentioned the next album more than once? I only remember reading Hotspot was moving in the direction of the next album. Whatever that means.

Love this.. Classic Pet Shop Boys.
Should have been the B-Side of West End Girls followed by A Man Could Get Arrested.

There is. Its called Disco 5. Remember what we got after Release? They had some up tempo stuff they did not put on Release.

Elysium. What came right after is Electric.

Hotspot - there are songs that did not fit the style of Hotspot. And we know that Disco 5 is coming. Expect a few more techno EDM on that because the tracks did not really fit Hotspot. Even though they did put Wedding In Berlin on it.

There's a pattern. They do an album that is different, and then there is this almost immediate reaction to that album. We got Very after Behaviour. We got Disco 3 after Release. We got Electric shortly after Elysium. We're getting Disco 5 that will be more like Disco 3, not just PSB remixes of other artists like Disco 4.

Nice to have some strings back again. I will listening to Super the other day. Trying to wrap my head around why Hotspot for some reason isn't really overall clicking for me. It's partly the analog nature of Hotspot. Its not over produced and lush like say Fundamental. Lacks strings for the most part. Its different, and it will grow on me. I know that. But this is a nice b side, the strings are great.

Has Disco 5 been confirmed or is it simply a rumour?

Looking forward to hearing this tomorrow.
