We have no taste, btw.

I just flew to Amsterdam on Saturday with KLM and hoped their in flight music selection might have Hotspot since its a new and fairly hot release. No such luck, so tried their "huge" selection of artists in their "best seller" section. No PSB there either. Poor. You'd think at least they'd bother with stone cold classic albums like Please, Actually and Very.

I wonder why the PSB connect in some countries (Germany, places in South America seems to be a big draw) yet others barely make an impact?

Most of the influential music-journalists here are boomers who like the Stones and Dylan and nothing more.

I think journalists have been really accurate with the new album. Most of ratings have given 4 starts out of 5 starts and/or a mark of 7 out of ten which I think it's the rating this album deserves.

I know that, but I was answering the question in the post above mine - why the PSB connect in some countries yet in others barely make an impact.

Why was Fundamental number 150 in the US in 2006?

Because of streaming.
Apparently it was the 7th best selling physical album in the U.S last week.

Wow! No 7! How many sales? And where can you find the billboard physical sales charts? I can't seem to find them on the official homepage.

Is it really 100???

Electric was 26 and Super was 58. I still can remember the excitement around Electric and how well received it was in the US.

#39 in Norway https://www.vglista.no/topplister/topp- ... m-2020-05/

The same country in which Electric went to #1.
IMHO, partly due to aging fans and partly due to Axis vs Burning the Heather effect...

Oh found it on Billboard Pro.
Can't believe how streaming ruined and distorted the charts. No 7 in physicals, no 100 on baloney.

Pet Shop Boys - Hotspot. Number 3 in Spain. Best position of a PSB album since Introspective which album was Number 3. The only album which made a higher position was Actually, Number 2.

It shows something PSB said once, England, Germany and Spain are the 3 more PSB friendly countries of the world.

No 7 in physicals is more accurate than no 100 incl. streams. Withinh the past four years, streaming has gone way up.
