The snippets differ whether you play the CD snippets or the LP ones. So you can listen to two different snippets of each song by bouncing from the CD to the LP previews.

This is the first time since Nightlife that I will not be downloading leaks or listening to snippets beforehand.

A good friend and I are going to sit down with a bottle of decent red or two on Friday evening and enjoy a clean 'first listen' of the vinyl on his Naim/PMC sound system.

I don't know how I've discovered such willpower, but it's a joy.
I so wish you lived down the road. That sounds just wonderful. I hope you both enjoy it..!
More strobes and BANGING, please!

Monkey Business is a good single choice.

Nicholas, Effen Vida, Retro or whoever. Can you tell us, which part from the song the snippets came from?. Many of them look like they were the final part of the full track.

Act 2, Act 3, Act 2 (best scene), start of Act 3, Act 2, Act 3, Act 2, Act 3 (final scene), Act 2, Act 1 (I think)

I don’t believe being a fan or otherwise is judged by listening to snippets or otherwise. For me it’s like watching film trailers. They are there to wet your appetite; frankly they are more for non fans - to persuade them to buy the album.

Anyway. Thoughts. Bloody marvellous. A smile emerged as soon as the Wiilow Whisp clip kicked in.

Obviously nothing concrete can be said without the whole work. But I will say that if fans are wondering from which of Neil & Chris’ previous works this album takes inspiration, I’d argue a number of them. I definitely heard nods to Nightlife, Yes and earlier works too.

Super excited for Friday now!

A random thought. I wonder if Lauren Lavern will play an exclusive of one of the unreleased tracks tomorrow as
well as Monkey Business? That. would be a snippet!

I don't listen to the snippets, I'll wait 'til friday …

… with the patience of a saint. ;)
A blues would be in B flat, pain defining wisdom,
but the soul is in the high hat, programmed in the system.

I’m waiting until Friday. I’ll buy the CD and put it on in the car - I think it is the best place to listen to an album for the first time.
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|
It shows the world that you've got substance and depth.
