They're pretty much stating explicitly that they wrote, how the hell can it be a cover? Especially if the original version was a demo of "Pazzo".
I must have missed or forgotten when/where they said that.

I am surprised they arent going with "you are the one" seeing as they really talk that one up in the literally as if its something really good.

In the last Annually they talk about it evolving from and using the same sounds as Pazzo. It’s therefore most likely to be the music used in the short Hotspot promo clip on Facebook.
Woof.

The final tracklist features 10 songs including Will-o-the-Wisp, Monkey Business, and the lead single Dreamland featuring Years & Years. The album is rounded out by a track called Wedding in Berlin, the location where Hotspot was recorded.

From this one could also assume that Will-o-the-Wisp may be a single...
What's for supper?

On January xx, “Monkey business”, the third new song from the forthcoming Pet Shop Boys album, is released. Their first version of the song had been written in the Super era. The chorus existed first; the verses came later, inspired by Neil imagining what Mick Jagger might sing if this were a Rolling Stones song. “We actually did the demo with Stuart Price in Hansa,” says Neil, “and suddenly the whole thing was rocking.” “I would never have thought it was going to end up this good,” adds Chris. “We’ve actually written,” Neil concludes, “almost for the first time in our career, a groove song.”
Good call.

I haven't heard it yet but I love than artwork. How good is it?
It matches the promotional photos and even the Hotspot album art, as well as being aestically pleasing on its own.

Being on the same line as the previous releases, I like the atwork..but it doesn´t seem to fit to the mood of track very well judging the snippet!

Why are people posting a snippet when the whole song is out?

I don't mind it, but it's not an instant favourite. I suppose I'm more in the mood for a deeper melancholic song.

I’m a little underwhelmed after two listens...

Disco pastiche, indeed.

Did they air it? I thought they were going to play it (and do interview) around 8:30 UK Time.
I've been around the world for a number of reasons. I've seen it all the change of seasons, and I, my lord, may I say nothing?
