Dreamland chart positions

#1 Post by shaunh7 »

I thought I'd start a new thread with the chart positions of the new single.
In the UK its number 57 in the sales chart although not in the main chart which includes streaming..still not bad after 2 days.😁😁😁

The only way to gain a bit of attention is when it was played on TV. But downloads is more related to young people who don't know who are them. Only Years & Years fans can change this but I don't think they have a huge fanbase.

How relevant is the chart now? In the days of Sunday nights there was some excitement to see where your favourite artist landed. Is there even a Sunday rundown any more and do people still listen if it does exist?

It’s on Friday now. Nobody listens.

Have a look at my taste in music:

That’s the thing about negative energy, about hatred. It can be positive. It throws into relief all the things you know you like. It tells you, by elimination, what you’re about. Sometimes you can only define yourself by what you hate. Hatred becomes an inspiration; it makes you think, “What I’m doing now I totally believe in, and I don’t care what other people say.” Guided by hatred, you don’t have to follow the herd. - Neil Tennant

I was just thinking the same! Glad it's not just me. Can we put a ban on emoji's for the forseeable future...

It's only certain ones though. ;)

But yes... it is a pointless distraction.

Is that good? I'm guessing this means it won't be troubling the top 40?

Its only after 2 days, it was released on Wednesday digitally and radio couldn’t play it until Wednesday.
So it should be better this coming Friday.
