^^^ And touching to hear him mention his mother. For such a short interview it was quite special and honest.

Think that’s the Shep Pettibone remix. A classic.
The version of What have I done to deserve this? on the Performance tour is actually called the ‘Disco Mix’ - it’s on the UK 12” B-side! Shep at his best - but I also love the 2 American released Shep 12” mixes!!
Its taken me all of my life to find you

The concert was good and it would promote them much more than Dreamland.
The sad ting is... Dreamland. The first single is not very strong as they had before.
If PSB would release something more beautiful like The Forgotten Child - it would be much better.

People still love PSB for beautiful songs, I think.

P.S. I asked few people who like PSB, but not fans.
So, people didn't really like it.

My partner of 11 years doesn't really like the Pet Shop Boys other than a few of the 80's hits but she absolutely loves Dreamland and after l took a few videos at the opera house she insisting on coming to the O2 which really shocked me i really think alot of people who are not big fans will go to the O2 :after seeing Sunday's fantastic show

NO, they need to release the version of What have I done to deserve this? from Performance. with the amazing breakdown at the end. It's the best version they have ever done. And would have worked brilliantly in Hyde Park

Quite right - the beat during 'we don't have to fall apart, we don't have to fight' is one of the most epic PSB moments ever - FACT!

@Parkol. Have to disagree in that Dreamland is a very current track. I get what you mean with The Forgotten Child, as a fan from the very early days, that’s more PSB but... the fact is that PSB have always moved with the times and hate the nostalgic element hence why we ‘true/old’ fans get upset at times but (yes another lol)... hence why we get to enjoy the boys 35 years on! The point? Embrace the new stuff whilst respecting the old.

At 1:12.27 you can see the bit where Neil comes in too early for the second verse of Domino Dancing. Is Neil singing along with a recorded voice of himself also audible to the audience? Or is he singing alone with his own voice playing in his in-ear monitor and obviously only audible to himself?
In all the lastest tours, Pandemonium, Electric and Super Neil sings over his own audible backing voice. In Pavia, The way it used to be was stopped because of a sound not correctly assigned, for example a tom playing the part of a string, so neil stopped singing but his voice was still audible.
Neil's vocals are always doubletracked, that defines the PSB sound. Only way to reproduce that live is by singing over his prerecorded vocals.

Loved it all. They all seemed to be enjoying it including the audience. The more I hear Dreamland, the more it reminds me of Misfit by Curiosity Killed The Cat. That's not necessarily a bad thing..!
On first play, that's exactly what I thought.

It was a shame Chris’s podium didn’t turn all the way round for his intro. His spotlight failed too. Other than that pretty faultless.
    Woof.
