Poll ends soon on your early overall impression of Agenda

#1 Post by geowayne » Fri 22 Feb 2019, 6:12 am

Hey there! Tomorrow (Saturday) is the last full day of my current poll, which asks your general, overall early impression of the Pet Shop Boys' recent EP Agenda. If you haven't already voted, please take a moment to visit my "Commentary" site at http://www.geowayne.com/psbhtml.htm and make your choice from the options provided right there on my home page.

On Sunday I will end this poll, post the final results, and launch a new survey for the next two weeks.

Thanks to everyone who has already voted! And I hope you all have a superb weekend!

Very happy with the results so far. its kinda clear that the negative reviews expressed here were by no means representative of the overall view by fans. I always keep forgetting that, not ...all the fans... are on this forum and that there actually are other fans out there :)

It's ok, but the EP format isn't my cup of tea, it just leaves you wanting more...
"It was a dark and stormy night."
"You know what's wrong with your stories? They lack subtlety."
"It was a sort of dark and kind of stormy night."

As expected, people largely enjoyed it, with a few vocal nay-sayers cluttering up the forum with their over-inflated opinions. Much like life, really.

Aren't you getting a wee tired of all those polls, Geowayne?

All those 'fans' who don't like Agenda should be barred from the forum

I think only track 1 is decent. The rest are no more than extra tracks on a CD single

Just because it's PSB and this is a PSB fans forum, doesn't mean that everything they do is soooo brilliant

You can easily be a fan and think it's not their best work, but still enjoy some of it. Or all of it, even.
