Good read and not a Pogue in sight :P

Such a great track but I rarely hear Always on my mind during the festive period though ... however the song does get played throughout the year unlike other 'Christmas' hits.
you could say conventional ... and I could claim intentional

This is a cover that the Boys totally owned and transformed. The same can't be said for Go West which is unfortunately now seen as a 'signature tune'.

I always forget about this song.

Without searching ‘Setlist.fm’ its been at the end/ in the encore of a couple of live shows and I’m always thinking Weat End Girls/Go West and then they play Always on my mind.

It always makes me smile and I forgot how much I like it.

I don’t know if I made it up but was there talk of an ep of covers of classica from each decade - 60’s, 70’s (Bohemian Rhapsody?), 80’s & 90’s???? Perhaps ‘Our House’ could be the 80’s classic.

Nice pic! - It would have been nice to see this as a Chistmas number one. There is a Christmas ad with it on.(Not PSB version though).
