I hear Neil's comments on the lyrics are quite short. Good thing I didn't buy it.

Virtually all those songs have been commented extensively before in booklets to album reissues, issues of Literally etc. In this book, comments on the lyrics are just nice dessert, not the main thing.
The main value of this book is that the lyrics are formatted properly — with the right punctuation, line and sentence breaks, emphasis etc. The authoritative source of what the lyrics and song titles actually are.

Oh, not opened mine! That photo was taken by David Walliams. Maybe it’s one of The I-V or just both standard and limited side by side

I bet David Walliams didn't have the trouble we have all gone though. I still haven't even seen the book I doubt I ever will!  What a farce this all has been. **rolls even bigger eyes**.

And how can people tell it's Neil's signature? 122 quid? My word!

So the guy who received two numbered copies of this book (one by accident), has put the 'spare' on ebay ; )

Just bought a limited edition copy on eBay. I think not too bad at £75 plus postage! I really wanted one of these, so really chuffed.

My special edition arrived yesterday. so thrilled. I've thanked the vendor already, but if you happen to be a Forum member, just to say again so grateful and you were very generous to let it go at the original published price.
