Whats with all these speech marks everywhere?
I wondered what they were too. But, when I logged in to post a reply they had gone. A lot of the "Smilies" have also gone when you reply.

Please Admin can you sort out the speech marks thing?? It's gone beyond a supposedly temporary glitch and now getting very annoying.

I'll be there. Going to fly in from Hamburg next Monday.

Just a quick heads up for those attending... The Hackney Arts Centre has pretentiously changed its name to "EartH" so look out for "EartH" when walking down the road as you may walk past. Also, according to the website its down for an 11pm finish so be aware of that if you've got trains out of London to catch......

Just read that the Neil book launch interview will be live streamed via Facebook.
I'm unable to catch it live but I'm hoping that some kind soul here is able to record this...it sounds like it could be fascinating.

Interview with The Guardian
https://www.theguardian.com/music/2018/ ... ion-lyrics
"quite often, a publisher says, ‘Let’s get Neil Tennant to write his autobiography’ and it’s quite nice that they do,” its author muses. “I’m not convinced my life’s been interesting enough. This is my autobiography.”

A few tidbits about the new album which suggest they know what's going on it:
Give stupidity a chance
A song about refugees
A song about Berlin
A major new love song
Gunpoint has a firm voice

I now can’t make this due to deciding to pick up a sickness bug

Would anyone like my ticket? Not looking for any money for it just want to make sure it’s used.
Also what happens with receiving the book? Should it have been picked up tomorrow night?

It’s time to go. “He’s good at talking, isn’t he,” says Lowe, “especially about himself! Did you ask him about Brexit?”
How deliciously bitchy
