Most intriguing question of the century is: will Chris Heath refer to himself as Annually from now?

So, it would appear that they have
a) realised there is interest in their LIVE versions - it'll be good to hear the studio version of left to my own devices (Super tour version)
b) that Undertow and Burn were clearly contenders for a single, even if there is going to be no further proper singles - I count proper singles as only those with original b-sides/extra tracks so Axis and Inner Sanctum def, do not count - from he Super album.
Perhaps, they decided to put together "Burn" and "Undertow" on this CD as an obvious act of compromise for fans wanting to see both songs as single from "Super" right from the beginning. By the way, "Left to my own devices" [super version] can be regarded as a b-side (thank to "Violence")...

Not sure if it this mix will be good (but hopefully). I'd like to hear original piano demo of this song mentioned in the last issue of "Literally".
"I think it’s an amazingly good album, I’ve got to be honest with you. It’s one of the albums I feel most proud of. But for people who don’t really know us, and have a sort of an idea about us, ‘Electric’ is more what the Pet Shop Boys are meant to be."
(Neil Tennant, speaking about "Elysium" on the eve of "Electric" release.)

This book and CD is bloody marvellous - can;t wait to hear a mix of Undertow, which I love with the passion I have for their earlier material.
But let's face it, hardly anyone releases singles now. All the big acts do now is release 1-track downloads ahead of the album, so I don't see why this can't be considered a single. Call it what you like though - it's a "release" with new tracks and as someone said Left to my own devices is a newly recorded b-side so hurrah for that.
