Re: One off concert at Royal Albert Hall in 2017
Actually I wasn't referring to the private members seats. There are hundreds of promoter holds, artist holds, charity holds, box office holds, marketing seats, press seats which are never all used. I'd say probably only around 80% of the available inventory was put on sale yesterday. Standard box office procedure. And of the currently-off-sale 20%, probably around half will be used and the other half will be released for sale to the public in the coming months.

I might have got a couple of tickets for this show - but the seats will be in the Arena. Neither my wife or myself are tall so I'm hoping that the venue and the presence of an orchestra will mean that most of the time people will be seated!
Can anyone here who went to the Salford gig (which could be the closest we have to this one) recall if it was a dance-a-long experience or was it more a sit back and bob-a-long affair?

Boxes are now available from the RAH website - ranging from £1,428 to £4,284!
For the top price you get...
LUXURY VIP BOX EXPERIENCE Exclusive hire of a 12 seat box Your dedicated service waiter will be waiting to greet you Champagne will be served upon arrival followed by wine and soft drinks Beverages include ½ bottle of Moët champagne, ½ bottle of wine and a selection of soft drinks Assortment of luxury canapés, cold and hot dishes will be served throughout the evening A selection of dessert canapés served during the interval The package will include a substantial donation to Teenage Cancer Trust
This is well out my price range, but if anyone buys one and has a spare seat...

I ran 'Relentless' Music Mail Order in the 90's and early 00's. That seems a lifetime ago, but I'm still a fan.

Not PSB related specifically, but an article about those dodgy ticket resellers!

Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning.

https://mobile.twitter.com/LavalleeJulien/photo The seller mentioned in the article has his own protected Twitter accounrt @LavalleeJulien. He describes himself as a Sports and Entertainment Ticket Entrepreneur. Blatant..... A couple of follow up articles about the same re-seller.

Thanks for this advice.Tomas wrote:Keep watching here:stussyboy wrote:Sorry boys, I'm not paying £300 for 2 tickets in the Gods.

- There are some tickets (very low numbers) randomly then and now at the face value.
On the day that the sale started I was number 192 in the queue on the RAH website when it broke down. I was forced to reload the page and I ended up around number 3000 in the queue. When I finally got in only a few seats were left and they disappeared before I was able to decide which to buy. I was tempted to buy a couple of tickets on the stubhub site but didn't trust that any tickets bought from sites like this would ever show up.
Then I remembered your advice and kept the link you shared as an open page in my browser. And yesterday my patience paid off. I was able to get 2 x Grand Tier box tickets at face value. The site still offers a single stall ticket in section K if someone is interested.

Hello Mads, great to hear.
Actually I managed to get my tickets right now - if anyone is looking for tickets, there seems to be about a dozen free places in Grand Tier Boxes at the moment, both at Gigs And Tours and Ticketmaster - Ticketmaster seems to have more of them on offer that G&T.
It takes some "playing" to get the desired places (out of all available), as the seats within a pre-selected section and/or price range are allocated automatically - it seemed to me they prefer to keep some better seats (with the same price tag) for orders of 4 tickets, but in the end I succeeded. If anyone needs more info on how to try to get front seats within the Boxes, just drop me a line.
Here is a useful seating plan:
