"Ooh! I like it here
Ooh! I love it
Ooh! I am never going home"

That bit is SO moving in a lot of ways. The song is good but the bridge is pure bliss.

It does indeed sound moving, just based on the lyrics! I think we're ALL going to be reflecting on our pasts, on our younger selves...

Still, it's been leaked for a few hours and no one's said they hate it yet, so that's a good sign.
Only 4 people have said they were listening to it on this forum. Tomorrow, many others.

A pop version of "Vocal"?. Oh my god, it's getting worse.

So on a scale of 1 to 10, it's an 11?

According to Parkol, on a scale of 1 to 10 it's infinity... and three quarters or so.

We need a 24-hour watch placed on Nickname's cell - no sharp objects.

By the end of today The Pop Kids will have gone from Vocal to Winner to What keeps mankind alive....

Come on, kind souls, save us from this tedious expectation.
Have a look at my taste in music:

That’s the thing about negative energy, about hatred. It can be positive. It throws into relief all the things you know you like. It tells you, by elimination, what you’re about. Sometimes you can only define yourself by what you hate. Hatred becomes an inspiration; it makes you think, “What I’m doing now I totally believe in, and I don’t care what other people say.” Guided by hatred, you don’t have to follow the herd. - Neil Tennant

At one point we can also hear a slice of Bolshy in The Pop Kids. ;)

The problem is that I usually love it when that house piano sound is used on tracks but this time it's exactly the reason why I can't really share Parkol's euphoria. The Pop Kids starts so cool, smooth and kinda dark (gives me the feeling I have while listening Flourescent), but once the chorus (and ultimately that "kinda" house piano) sets in, its all getting a bit too generic and boring for me. It's also exactly the point in time when we get that pop version of vocal.
