The Voxigen Mix is excellent! More Chris Le Blanc remixes please...

It was released on the second CD-single in continental Europe a few months after the single release https://www.discogs.com/release/218380 So it's still part of the I Wouldn't single release campaign, and belongs on the I Wouldn't CD. Unlike West End Girls (Sasha Remix) which shouldn't be included on the West End girls CD with the original 1985/1986 EMI versions.

Yes, I agree that if possible it should be on the Normally cd, however to avoid making it 2 CDs, the slightly later release (early 1994?) would make it a valid reason to move it to, say, the "Liberation" cd.

I also think it would be valid to move I Want A Dog (techno funk mix) from the more-than-full-to-the-brim Seriously/Streets disc, to the end of the "Rent" cd which has very few tracks.

Just an idea, to work round the 1 CD limit without losing the tracks/rationale entirely!

Small correction: it was the third EU CD-single. The 2nd being "The DJ Pierre Remixes". The Voxigen Mix was also released on an Italian 12", both releases from approx. February 1994.

As far as I'm aware, no remasters have ever gone back to the original mutitrack parts (apart from those for 5.1 surround sound versions).
Indeed. There are quite a few instances of 60s/early 70s music where new stereo mix are created from the multi tracks, but other than that remastering rarely goes further back than the original stereo masters. Would love to hear the PSB in 5.1... Very with its dense soundscape could sound amazing. Actually and Fundamental as well. Is anyone else here interested in 5.1 surround music?
I would absolutely love 5.1 surround sound for the Pet Shop Boys catalog. It would be awesome! Sadly, I doubt that will ever happen while the boys are themselves in charge of the catalog.

Same here I would love to hear their material in 5.1 Surround Sound, it would make for a more unique listening experience.

Will it ever happen.......never say never.

Slightly off topic but I wonder who will take charge of their back catalogue and business once they (and us) are no longer here as they don't have children to bequeath to.. Just curious..

Or perhaps to the state? Did Jeremy Corbyn say anything about this in his manifesto?

I haven't opened the Release 2017 Reissue...yet.

The original release of ‘Release’ was pressed on white vinyl. Or at least my copy is anyway. The reissue is black vinyl.
Just for the sake of it, make sure you're always frowning. :|
