#1 Post by y3potential »

Not sure if this is already news to others, but saw this DVD cover on the "Electric,Pet Shop Boys" site on facebook.

Is this due or a bootleg..?

I'm wondering now if we'll ever see another PSB DVD release.

A bluray, please. But I doubt it's gonna happen what with all the vids on youtube available and the horrendous costs for a production.

I agree with you - I would be very surprised to see this happen.
I don't have a blu ray but if Electric were only released on blue ray then I would get a player as I would love to have this.

The electric show is alright, but not their finest moment. There' s no particularly interesting versions of songs. It's played very straight. Besides, isn't in on youtube?!

I'd far rather cd releases of live gigs - Salford, Hacienda, Barfly, etc....

Very disappointed this hasn't been released yet. Also, why no special edition of 'Electric'?

And the last live dvd probably didn't sell too well either.

They're on their own small, new label. The budgets that used to exist just don't exist anymore.

They could do what Depeche have done with their last tour. Electric dvd blu ray, the album on a 5.1 mix and the audio of the tour on two cds. Stick it all in a hardback 12"x12" box.....
is is and isnt isnt

I think the opposite - off the top of my head Opportunities, Rent, I'm Not Scared, I Get Excited and I Wouldn't Normally...are all interesting versions of songs and I'm sure there are more than that.

Surely if funding is an issue, then a pledgemusic release could be possible?
