Rent & Heartbeat by Alan Brando - Separated at birth?

Heard this Italo Disco track this afternoon and thought, "hmm, that bass line sounds very familiar".

Not insinuating anything at all, just marvelled at the resemblance.

And of course, upon further research, this track may only be a couple of years old. I think.

The riff is very much "Rent" and the 'talking' vocal fits with that too; I see some of the high synth line sounding like "It's a sin", though, that's true.
