Still going to buy the DVD when it's released :)

Don't get this film at all. Seems pointless.

Greetings,

Life itself is inherently pointless ~ each person finds their own reasons for engaging with it, their own subjective purpose.

To me, the movie is an expression of the escapist sentiment underpinning Two Divided By Zero, and any attempt to give a clear and unambiguous story-line would have likely detracted from that sentiment. Escaping involves getting from A to B - these points of reference need not be well-defined, especially when where you're escaping to is often secondary to what you're escaping from. It Couldn't Happen Here is the journey of escape - the escape from the banal to alternative ill-defined possibilities.

Retro. :)

It's too expensive release a BR with a film with 0 commercial appeal.

Spent a happy 86 minutes or so yesterday, re-watching the YouTube version. It's funny, but the film doesn't seem dated. Really looking forward to the DVD release.

That's why it's surreal!

Not much more than releasing a DVD with 0 commercial appeal and picture quality barely better than YouTube. In that case I might as well dust off my old VHS player and stick the original in. Blu-Ray please.

I hope the BFI are still releasing ICHH this year. I've held off on watching it recently and I feel the need.

Neil was a pretty awful actor and he later admitted it.

Can't see it having any commercial appeal at all.

Hoping they are going to release it in 2018 for the 30th anniversary. Otherwise I will lose all hope.
