what some dont seem to remember is there are people who just straight up like the music. so what they percieve as an oddity, ie,a conservative fanbase.... is just normal ...as most of us just get into a band for the music and politcal leanings are neither here nor there.

the people who take note of political leanings are in my view, the ones that can be a problem. the implication being you cant be with the band if you arent with the appoved mindset.

I missed them somehow. george michael was looking healthy, and it was good to hear that always look on the bright side of life and imagine segments.

I think they look more like the new alien "Deacon" from the film "Prometheus".

And Ultimate is at #807. Despite being 18 pence cheaper than Discography and having their recent hits. Which just goes to show exactly how "ultimate" this compilation turned out to be.

Another comparison: the last two Elbow albums are at #4 and #11.

Just checked out the Elysium iTunes pre-order for the track-by-track commentaries and couldn't help but noting the PSB top songs in the UK at the moment:
#1 West End girls - Discography
#2 West End girls - Some various artists compilation
#3 West End girls - PopArt

It's also on #12, 13 (both Ultimate) & 15 (Please).

Winner is at #7, 8 and 22 (Andrew Dawson HappyHour remix).

Visually from I could see they looked great but the sound was absolutely crap, what a total let down, I was watching it all on BBC HD and spent allot of the time screaming at the TV to try an get the commentators to shut up, their pathetic ramblings ruined it all for me.

Am I the only one who thinks their performance was rather poor and this for different reasons:
-) they came way too early in the show (they would have fitted better more at the end of the ceremony, during the review of 50 years of British music for example)
-) they didn't sing West End Grils completely
-) you couldn't see them that very well (almost no close up from Neil & Chris)
-) and to finish: the start of the ceremony and their performance was very chaotic...

Neil & Chris deserved better.... Much better.
