New B-Side album called Format set for February 2012 release

From the interview:
"...... because we’re putting out another B-sides album in February, like an ‘Alternative’ part two. But we’re calling it Format,” says Neil, referring to their classic B-sides collection from 1995.
Chris sounds a little concerned, “We’re not announcing that yet, are we?”
“Well why not - these things are usually leaked through some Japanese website anyway. I’d rather it came out here,” insists Neil.
“It’s all our B-sides from 1996 to 2009, starting with The Truck Driver and His Mate”.

All the 1996-2009 b-sides surely can't fit on two cds if they don't edit them heavily-possibly different tracklists for cd and digital release like Depeche Mode did for their remixes album? The title seems to suggest that.

Great news - as the title suggests, and given the supposed demise of the CD format, they arent restricted by the number of tracks now. But I do hope they release a physical format with Farrow artwork and everything in proper CD quality (i.e. not iTunes compressed AAC).

Only a matter of time before someone complains that fans will have all these tracks already and it's a pointless release.

My quick count is 39 tracks not counting remixes/redos (ie Integral and Discoteca) and live tracks. Not sure absolutely everything would fit on two discs, but they could leave off the Yes b's if needed. They could also stretch it to a 3 disc I suppose, but that's unlikely.

I hope they re-record a B as a single. I liked that idea with Paninaro.

Fantastic news, will be nice to have them all together. Hope they fit them all on 3 discs, that way they might be able to include a couple of unreleased tracks.

Would also be great if they released a re-recorded b-side single and did a small b-sides only tour to coincide. Very unlikely though!!
