Finally located this track.

As for my earlier post on another thread- I've bought 3 copies of Did you see me coming? on itunes, in order to get the other new B sides and remixes.

$1.69 a pop, which is fine, but to suggest I pay $25.00 to get the one outstanding track- this one, is a bit rich, which I'm not. So on this occasion I've got hold of a not so legal copy, and no one gets any money. So that was successful!
This after I purchased all Love etc eps, and Yes etc x 2 copies all legally.

Starting to feel a bit like an ABBA fan being ripped off by Universal.

Im a big fan, bit there is a limit. As for the track- absolutely love it, so maybe the $25 might have been worth it.

Agree with an earlier comment, maybe PSB should produce themselves next time around- the results are very good!

Best b-side of the bunch. A scathing criticism of how the media hypes up tragic events.

Well, presumably you'd be getting a bit more than just 'the one outstanding track' for your $25.
And everything about tonight feels right and so young
And anything I'd want to say out loud will be sung
It's in the music...

Best b-side in a long time. I absolutely love this track and can't stop listening to it. At first I had trouble getting what the song was about but it helped reading some of geowaynes thoughts on his commentary site. It's a rather dark song with up-beat drum patterns. Classic Pet Shop Boys.

I like this b-side a lot (follows the other b-sides about modern themes) and pretty good lyrically...makes up for the experimental 'The Former Enfant Terrible'

Lyrics for those who are interested...should be very accurate :D

Typical day
Cars being towed away
Junk mail through the door
Joins the post on the floor

Drilling, always someone drilling
Somewhere in the city
authorised by committee

Permission is bestowed
according to postal code
Terms and conditions may vary
Its nothing out of the ordinary

Sometimes someone gets upset
Doesn't hear the laughter
Takes it as a threat
But its different after, after the event
Looks like someone smiling
Happy to be here
Blue skies heaven sent

There's a kind of glow
illuminates the flow
over to the east
of traffic in the streets
Not to be outdone
the school run has begun
Mothers all arrive
each in a four wheel drive

Sometimes someone gets upset
Doesn't hear the laughter
Takes it as a threat
But its different after, after the event
Looks like someone smiling
Happy to be here
Blue skies heaven sent

Evening comes as a surprise
Suddenly someone dies
Everyone's overreacting
with cliches and bad acting

Misty in the rain
Flowers in their cellophane
Policeman intervening
Drama without meaning
Its perfectly routine
A statement from the Queen
Obituaries appear
You can leave your tributes here!

Sometimes someone gets upset
Doesn't hear the laughter
Takes it as a threat
But its different after, after the event
Looks like someone smiling
Happy to be here
Blue skies heaven sent

Greetings Sandy,

I think you're right on both counts

Hi Retro!

Shame, as 'bistowed' sounds like the gravy powder of permission is being sprinkled according to some postal code lottery!
