I give it high marks simply because they went in a different direction with it sort of hiphop and for the most part succeeded.
and I like the tone of the singers voice.

I'd play it every now and then.

There is good in every genre. Don't just write off a whole section of music. Apart from Glam Rock, of course. That had no redeeming qualities at all.

Well Sparks were kinda glam rock for a while and they are pure genius. I recognise that each genre has good and bad but r n' b normally consists of the latter and this song is bad full stop, regardless of genre.

If the Autotune wasn't so overdone, you'd have a hit on your hands. Honestly, I usually don't like modern R'n'B because it's so tuneless, but I could see this charting.
