I know yesterday (13th March) was the first time a new PSB track had been played in ages, but (as per the long standing forum rules) in future all public requests for copies of any new track, PSB or otherwise, will be deleted and/or threads containing requests closed. We will officially...
I think I should do some coverage for PSB's first ever gig in Taiwan!
BTW, the setlist is the same full set, so there's nothing more to add. Neil seemed really excited that they finally made it to Taiwan. He even said Shie Shie (Thanks in Chinese) during the encore. It's surprsing that PSB can...

I find it a bit odd that they haven't played Japan this time around, I must say. Surely they could have been squeezed on the bill at one of the festivals?
Can anyone confirm if this is to be a seated or standing gig? Went on ticketmaster and wasnt allowed to chose where id like to sit and was offered general admission tickets. need to know asap cos if its seated i shoulda got my tickets ages ago. was waiting cos i didnt think it would sell out.

just recently joined here after someone mentioned this site at the Blackpool concert on Tuesday which I really enjoyed.
Because I'm only small a few people allowed me to go closer to the front to be able to see. If any of those people are on this site, thank you
Good turnout tonight. Looked like almost all seats were sold
and standing full-ish. Compared to Nightlife disaster this was
far better than I (and perhaps psb) feared. Sound very good
as was SEB. Neil stopped for a few autographs but no
photos as he said he was sick of having them taken also got...

Did anyone go to Cardiff? I have just come back from an overnight stay and this is the third time I have seen the concert live. Cardiff is a very nice City and the Arena very central. Much smaller than I imagined but very nice. Show was fabulous as ever and Sophie did very well as the warm up act ....

neil and chris signed posters, cds ect from the car at cardiff
I am still dusting/scrubbing off the glitter off myself this morning after what I perceived to be quite a lively gig for Brighton standards, at least down in the standing area.
The sunny, holiday atmosphere in the town must have helped, and Sophie Ellis-Baxtor was surprisingly good, and did a...

Same set list, no specials, just tons of glitter - still find bits of it in bags, clothes, on my floor... :-)
The same setlist as usual or as the Blackpool one? :P
Same as usual, no added bit like in blackpool as it was only relevant to that place really
Be happy Italian Petheads! The long waited Italian gig is now on the horizon! Our heroes will play on 23/06/2010 h. 21:15 in the courtyard of the historical castle in Pavia (more or less 30' by car from Milan). Tickets already on sell:

Here you can find my pics: and here my videos: www.youtube.com/user/PSB81Fan (thanks to Marco, my brother-in-law, for having taken so many -more than 130- and good pics and the first video).
Another great night for me, with my friends (a big Ciao even to Mr. Versace always a pleasure to meet you)...
Does anyone think they'll be alter the set list at all ? Obviously, it will be pretty much what we've already seen (It has to be otherwise it wouldn't be the Pandemonium tour  ) but what do you think will be added or removed ?
:D

Good change for me LVC-NYCB; I love NYC Boy while LVC seems a bit weak live with the album arrangement.
I've found this article about PSB and the chance to see them on stage during the next Glastonbury festival exactly 10 yaers after their first performance there:
Pet Shop Boys Say They Are Up for Glastonbury 2010
Pet Shop Boys have said they would be up for playing Glastonbury's 40th anniversary...

Who duetted on What have I done to deserve this??
I've recorded it but not watched it yet.
Who duetted on What have I done to deserve this? ??There is only person who could ever duet on that song, and she didn't let us down !
I was wondering about the upcoming dates and would be interested if anyone had any ideas about changes to the set etc, I also mean the stage design (which I doubt will change) but am sure that a few 'tweaks' will be made. As the Pandemonium DVD is already available it would be illogical to proceed...

Hi Pat, I think it's been discussed a bit here ...
From today's Brighton Argus.... The Brighton festival seems to feature Neil in a debate.
Books and debate
Jarvis Cocker, Alex James, Mark E Smith and Neil Tennant lend a musical slant to the literary programme.
Unfortunately the rest of the article fails to mention what the debate Neil...

Hello, I am a long-time PSB fan who needs this forum's help... I was in the audience at this Brighton Festival interview back in 2008, where Neil made many very interesting comments, including one to the effect of people think the 1980s was all about money but it was nothing compared to now . I am...
...is absolutely gridlocked and I can only imagine that there will be 100s if not 1000s that wont make it tonight. I've only got to come from Hemel Hempstead (about 20 miles) and there's no way I can even get out of my house as the town is gridlocked with traffic. Havent seen snow like it for...

Pet Shop Boys have been confirmed as the headliners of the Primavera Sound 2010 festival in Spain on May 29th which will be their first live performance of the year.
With the current incarnation of the Pandemonium setlist, for the first time they are playing their 6 highest charting songs in the UK on tour!

They never do What Have I Done in the US, at least not in the naughties. And it was their second biggest hit over here, and one of the only ones that still gets airplay. They really should do that song in the US. Also, it's one of their best songs. Period.
I'm debating whether to get to Birmingham early to see Bad Leiutenant, and I wondered if anyone has any details of their set from the SECC.
If they're playing some New Order / Electronic tracks then I'll happily set off early!

Anyone coming up for it? How excited am I!

I was so disappointed I had to leave early. Coming from Dundee, I had to get the last bus back (which left at 11). I almost didn't make it, either, haha. My girlfriend was urging us to leave during It's A Sin, but I was adamant I was seeing at the least the main part of the show in full.
Do you guys reckon this will go ahead? Never been to a concert in bad weather before, what are the odds of them cancelling?
Also, who's going? :)

I just continue to find it interesting how close PSB are touring with Depeche Mode, within days usually, or weeks, and in Mexico City the same night. In my area NYC, USA, a month apart. Expensive for us who only go see these 2 bands, but exciting and enjoyable.

Oh I KNOW! Can't...
Anyone know the brand of Neils bowler hat he is wearing at Did You See Me Coming and West End Girls at the Pandemonium Tour? (Probably the same type he wore at the West End Girls on Cubism/Fundamental).
I've managed to get the afternoon off work, so can get to Birmingham at a reasonable time. However I don't fancy waiting around too long in the freezing cold. Just wondered what time others were planning on getting there?

Yes, unfortunately... several airports were closed because of snow and flights cancelled (or too expensive); ferries didn't run either at times. Bus services sold out, etc. :(
I'm VERY sad I couldn't make it to London  due to the Eurostar cancellations...
If anybody's interested and still needs a ticket, feel free to drop me a line. It's a printable ticket (booked it via Ticketmaster), so I could send it to you as a PDF file.
Hello :) Just rang the O2 confirmation line (as have to start making travel plans). The doors open at 6:30pm and the concert starts at 7:45pm this time and ends at 10:50pm. Does anyone have any idea what time P.S.B's are going to be on stage?

No Eurostar train services tomorrow. No London. No concert. :'-(
Does anybody still need a ticket?
Noooooooooo... can't believe the problem is still not solved

Not literally of course. But it's only 20 minutes away, so...

Quite bad reviews this morning in the Belgian newspapers...
Whar kind of newspaper are these? For example in Italy the biggest newspaper are always critical against PSB 'cos for them only rock exists but if you red some of the few music magazines they often have good words for them.
Anyone bought tickets from gigantic.com for Manchester?
and been told yesterday that they will have to collect their tickets from the M.E.N box office before the gig as their supplier sent the tickets to them by post but they went missing?
My friend, her boyfriend and I arrived at ca. 4:15 p.m., so we waited more than
2 hours, it was very cold and my toes were nearly frozen in the end.
We managed to get into the first row and had a lot of fun, the mood in the Halle

Really good! I think that even Rostock and Frankfurt are been sold out (tickets online for Rostock are been the first in Germany to go sold-out). I think...
PSB play at KB-hallen on December 8th. Tickets go for sale here , presumably tomorrow.
KB-hallen has a 3000 people capacity. Morrissey also recently played there.

It was truly a great concert. I saw them three times in the US in September (New York x2 and Atlantic City) and the show in Copenhagen was quite similar. But the addition of Dusty/What have I done..... was magical - and so beautifully performed. And it was a great, campy ending with It doesn't...

Only it's getting awfully close to the dates and there's no sign of my Manchester one yet!

My new passport recently arrived in the normal post - no signature, knock on the door or anything. However, I had to show ID to collect an Amazon parcel from the sorting office yesterday. Go figure.
Hi, ordered 2 tix for the June 19th gig at the 02 arena in london back when they were first released, but haven't received them in the post yet.
Just wondering if anyone else had, and at what point I should start checking into this (or is such a delay normal?)

The irony is that us fans who ordered through Digital stores/PSB site early, are the last ones to receive them!
The fans that ordered through the regular vendors such as Ticketmaster etc ... got theirs immediately if they chose to print their own or a few weeks later at most.
I know...
Can anyone recommend any hotels near the MEN arena?
It's a fair walk from the city centre as I found out when I went to see Girls Aloud in May, and the best part of £10 in a taxi in just one direction, so I'd prefer to stay closer to the arena than my usual choice of the Gardens hotel in Picadilly.

The Park Inn, Victoria is very near. Have not stayed there as it is quite new and is a tall building which you can see from the front of Victoria Station.
