Re: Neil featured on new Brandon Flowers album.

Love Brandon. For some reason the lead track reminds me of Morten Harket ..... and Chris de Burgh. It's been a long day though.

Re: Electric Christmas

It's a gesture. They don't have to send anything. Perhaps their old contract with Parlephone included a budget for such items. Now they've branched out on their own, physical cards are an expense they simply can't wear. I'd rather they spent money (probably lost money) on the odd future physical rel...

Re: Analyze Always on my mind

Does anyone know where I can read about the arrangement of the single? I'm sure I've read that Chris came up with an extra chord than the usual sequence, that they did it quickly for the TV show etc etc but can't remember where. Isn't it curious that one listens to a track hundreds and hundreds of t...

Re: THE BEST COVER OF ALL TIME (RESULTS)

Oh but it will always be my favourite Christmas song. I can vividly remember Christmas Day TOTP 1987 and how happy I was.

..... Until I saw Chris wearing a wedding ring. God, I was shattered.

Re: Premiere of 'A Man From The Future' at BBC Proms - 23/07

Am I the only one who just listens to the music and the brilliance of it ? I've never understood why some have to analyse everything either. Gay, political etc etc. It doesn't really matter. Either enjoy it for what it is, or don't. It matters not one iota it has a gay theme. I shouldn't get involv...

Re: Premiere of 'A Man From The Future' at BBC Proms - 23/07

I liked Neil's jacket. How good did he sound on Rent too? I was mildly irritated by Chrissie when she introduced Neil as the man who wrote the music, poor Chris. Neil quickly put it straight - he's such a pro. Chrissie took a while to warm up but she did do during LT. Such a distinctive voice. The T...
