Silver Performance

Performance has been in our lives for 25 years now. Only last night i watched the complete show and i honestly believe we will never see anything like that again, The whole production is just perfect. Considering what catalogue of songs they had at that time, the show never seemed rushed or desperat...

Re: FOR SALE : Yes (Vinyl Factory Boxset)

Hi. Been a fan since 1985. Would have loved to have bought this at time of release. My budget at this time is £500.
Many thanks

Re: Twenty-something is the next single

Very fitting single release to coincide with their four night residencey at the Royal Opera House. Bringing chord structures of a song from an opera (King Arthur) into a pop song. Bringing Pop into the ROH.... The boys are something else!!!

Re: Twenty-something is the next single

Hoping they release a version of Twenty-something with the extra verses (as mentioned in Literally 42) perhaps naming it Twenty-something (Something more mix).

Instrumental break

Cannot get enough of the instrumental break of Twenty-something.
The best they have ever done.
Memory of the future (album version) a close second.

Thoughts?

Royal Opera House Vision

What are your expectations regarding the staging and theme of the forthcoming Inner Sanctum shows at Royal Opera House? I have a vision. A vision which becomes clearer and clearer every time I listen to Inner Sanctum. Ok. It slightly resembles the opening scene for Madonna's Confession Tour (a no go...

Re: Would you include one song from "Super" in your Top 10 PSB songs of all time?

For my 40th I compiled my best 40 Pet Shop Boys songs and titled it 40; As it were! Twenty-something has stormed straight in at Number 2 and probably will stay in the Top 10 for the next release at 50!

Re: "Super" produced by Stuart Price but programmed by PSB

I seem to recall a very informative interview (still on Youtube) with Neil, Chris & Stuart Price discussing the production of Electric. Chris, surprisingly, comments "I'm still none the wiser on how Stuart has done most of the stuff on the album. He works so fast". Stuart goes on to sa...

Anyone else thinks there's a likeness to Burn & the opening credits of the 1995 film Bad Boys ?
