Love is a Catastrophe: their 2nd worst song after Footsteps.

Metamorphsis is a bit cheesy, but the K-klass production is great, as are Chris' vocals. Love it

Damn, voted for the night I fell in love and just noticed footsteps is in this group, easily my worst song they've ever done, its a drone and has no melody. It was the first time I realised even the boys were fallible. Oh well.

'If there was love' is my 2nd favourite thing (after being boring) they have done, JJ Belle on guitar, Courtney Pine on tenor sax, and Liza talking Shakespeare's sonnet. Phew, its just perfect.

and one of the articles is written by me, 'Hocknell', if you read it I hope you enjoy it.

Think it describes my feelings for the song.

I've often thought the ideal tracklisting of release should have been:

Home and Dry
I get along
London
Searching for the face of jesus
Email
Between two islands
I didn't get where I am today
Here
Always
You choose

Find love is a Catastrophe a dirge, like footsteps

We should let psb know that they should release a live album with tracks from hacienda gig, the barfly gig and now the mermaid gig (and any other exclusive concerts when they performed new versions of songs). Those versions would be great to hear and they must have the masters as 'of course its all ...

the 7" is fantastic, really understated with the arrows on the picture disc. Sound's not up to much though and would have preferred a normal 7".But good to have a b-side back! What the hell is the dvd about? Why on earth would I want to listen to music through my TV? That is crap. Alhough probably n...

thats ok, hope it didn't sound too directive, but we must get the facts right! Any reason 'pet shop boys' isn't on the list? Its not a bad little curio.

the track 'Pet Shop Boys' IS definitely by the psb, it is the 'theme to the pet shop boys' that is by the hurricanes.
I have got the track 'pet shop boys' on the first West End Girls 7". The one released prior to Opportunities on Parlophone with the 'Joe Stalin' lyrics.

Look at that set list- their (new) version of 'in private' I'd love to hear, DEFINITELY an unusual choice to play, but good on them for doing so. I'm not that crazy about 'Love is a catastrophe', but was it very different? Being Boring (obviously) I love, how did that sound without the jj wah wah?

as it was all from tape, (what WAS Chris doing for the duration?!) there is no doubt the boys themsleves have it all in perfect quality on hard-drive, which would make for a perfect live ep/album/b-sides (or extra tracks as I guess they're called these days). MUST ask them this question when the que...

what a shame, its great when the re-intepret old songs and that gig re-sequenced all the songs I beleive, 'it's a sin' was stripped down and sounds fascinating. A live cd one day perhaps. Would like to lobby Parlophone!
