Re: True meaning behind Together? Suicide?

I am guessing it is a song taken from "The Most Incredible Thing" which explains why it is a waltz, and thus will make perfect sense once seen in the context of the show.

Re: New Track Comments

Well, Maybe this continues the ongoing PSB vs Sting theory I've had.... As Neil competes for pop stardom over his old alumni. Granted Neil made it to NYC originally to interview the Police... and then meet Bobby O. Didn't Sting do a Together song too: "We'll Be Together" And "Miracles...

Re: Re-release

I dunno about any acoustic mixes of Here, but think about it those two songs would make good b-sides at best. And I agree, hit and miss does fit well on release. And as for "the night i fell in love," it should have remained UNreleased.

Well It was fun while it lasted... A pity really, as it was a nice treat to hear the exclusives.

It could have been much better if DJ fresh had not just gone off after getting jacked up on Coffee.

Re: Beautiful People: 'Demo' is better than album/single version

Of all of their demos the one that I like more than the final version is the demo for "indefinite leave to remain." Stripped of the Orchestration and layered production, it has a real raw and more personal feel which mirrors it's lyrics.

Re: Beautiful People: 'Demo' is better than album/single version

The demo reminds me of late 70's Bee Gees. The final with it's 60's sunshine escapist vibe could easily fit on an album by Swing Out Sister.

Re: "Yes" sales in the US: 36,406

I found that there was very little promotion of this album at least on the physical front. Initially record stores only had the basic edition, if that. It is a different climate, but still not much of a ripple to the non-plugged in fan. It was also released later so that couldn't have helped. I know...

Re: New PSB soundalike track ft. Neil & Chris

You have some real talent...That's really cool, one of the best Home and Dry mixes I've heard :D .
So with all of this digital manipulation, I've often wondered how it would sound hearing In Private using Neil's and Dusty's vocals.

Re: "All over the world" and its potentiallity to be single

I think that if "All Around the World" were to be released as a real single it would make most sense around Christmas with a really good video, maybe even release it as a charity single with some collaboration as the AA side. It has a really good chance to do something if it is handled pro...

Re: degree of PSB discography, fandom etc.

The main studio albums don't include a variety of PSB "hits" so one who considers themselves a fan would likely have such unique tracks in one form or another. With Mp3's etc the PSB catalog has become assessable to a lot more people than in the days of truly limited promos and hard to fin...

Re: Pet Shop Boys - Unreleased

Bounce once showed up on ebay about five years ago with a load of other demos on cassettes that were from the 1986-1988 era. They were for sale by a former "insider," however, the auction was ended. I never heard much about it since, though I do strongly believe (for once) the items were l...

At the Beginning of "So Hard," the "kiss" sample is taken from ABC's tune "A To Z" from their album How to Be A Zillionaire. The Line originally says, "Hi, I'm Eden, and I want you to kiss my snatch."
