Re: 1988 photo

^^^^ As had been said elsewhere on these forums, if Kylie can merit an exhibition at the V&A then so can these Boys. She had what.....those gold hot pants and that white hood dress thingy that required a LOT of boob tape. Here's hoping they're getting an exhibition.

Re: 1988 photo

A proper exhibition would be fab. Something V&A style, though they're a bit more ICA in attitude.

Re: Annually and Agenda CD lost by Digital Stores

^^^^ I think fans want something tangible to hold, such as an illustrated book like Annually. Digitised versions of books don't have the same 'feel'. I can't imagine a book such as Catalogue on a digital format, it's a beautifully produced object in its own right to say nothing of the contents. Simi...

Re: 1988 photo

Not sure why people are so keen for a ICHH revival. The film was APPALLING on almost every level. Some striking visuals but as a product from their supposed 'imperial phase' it is just the most misguided thing they've done.

Re: Annually- Agenda sold out?

I received Annually very promptly. The Agenda vinyl never materialised despite being ordered as soon as it was available via Rough Trade.

Re: Why vinyl? My first PSB-CD

.... Walking back home I found a huge bulge on the record..... Similar experience here when I bought the 12" of Before :D Joking aside, I prefer vinyl, it's more tangible, the artwork is also fundamental to the enjoyment of the record. If it were down to sound quality then yes digital all the way b...

Could you please express the whole thing in one word? In my university days it was a test to see if our ruminations worked.

Is a 50 min musical the same price as another 2 hour one ?
Yes. One would happily pay double for sitting through less of Closer to Heaven.

Just kidding.

Re: These Magic Moments, Part I

Only thing I'm reminded of is the parody version of Magic Moments we used to sing at school: "I'll never forget the smell of the sweat from under your armpits..." I assume you went to a private school Mr Fancy Pants?! At our's it was a not very genteel... "It wasn't the grass that tickled your @ss ...

Jeez, that's had more resurrections than Jesus. Isn't the whole storyline a bit quaint now anyway...."set against the backdrop of Soho's pulsing nightlife". Does Soho even have a pulse these days.

I think anyone saying bad things about this collaboration, or that they're chasing for a hit, should only listen to this gorgeous homage.

Does it make more sense to your old-man minds now?

Re: So the Dreamland is coming for the new album

They should be having hits on their own merits. Not having someone else sing on the record to help them. If they were that desperate they’d get Pharrell Williams or Sean Paul. The Madonna method? Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams, M.I.A, Nicki Minaj, Maluma.....whoever the eff he is....all pulle...
