Love the film, love the Bruce and Neil Young tracks equally - both poignant and aching.

The PSB cover was also very nice.

That sounds amazing, it's a really good quality recording. They should release a studio version of this.

Re: PSB in ‘Blinded By The Light’

I believe PSB did a live cover of Philadelphia during one of the tours. Probably the Release tour. It's another song from the film Philadelphia but written by Neil Young. But they only played it a couple of times. Sadly, I didn't get to hear it live. Anyway, thanks for the heads up about the Springs...

Re: Musik - Cabaret and EP

I've been listening to Musik on my work commute everyday since it came out. Another great release. Love the new songs. Mongrel has a great chorus. Soup has understated and funny lyrics. Ich bin Musik is one of my favorite things they've done recently. I like it more than some of their lead album sin...

Re: Final results of poll on three favorite songs of the "Behaviour era"

I'm having a hard time with the Bilingual one. There are too many good ones to choose from. So far I have narrowed them down to:

Discoteca
It always comes as a surprise
To step aside
Paninaro 95
The truck driver and his mate
Hit and miss
Delusions of grandeur
Hallo spaceboy

Those are three songs I chose. But it was tough to choose only three. Jealousy and Nervously could have been there too.

Another Grauniad-esque political song with misguided elitism, combined with more from the sultry world of Billie Trix...

Your mileage may vary, but 2019 isn't looking like one of my favourite PSB years.
Funnily enough this post reads like it was written by an elite PSB fan!

Re: Poll ends soon on three favorite PSB songs of the "Very era"

Glad to see Can You Forgive Her? is at the top by a wide margin. One of the best things they've ever done IMO. And the video, which seems to have surprisingly low number of views on youtube compared to some of their other videos, is also fantastic.

The new songs could be the ones on Agenda. Would be great to hear them live.

Re: PSB announce ‘Inner Sanctum’ live DVD/BLU RAY/CD

I've been listening to the concert a lot as I transferred the tracks to my phone so I could listen to them on my commute to work. The highlights for me are In The Night, Burn, Love Is A Bourgeois Construct, Love etc., The Dictator Decides, The Enigma and Left To My Own Devices.

Re: So the Dreamland is coming for the new album

Great news. I saw Years & Years live last year and they were really good. I still wish they would go ahead and also do a duet with Tracey Thorn.
