Ok, I watch 4k with HDR, still no huge difference.
Give stupidity a chance, indeed.

Re: Agenda instead of Hotspot

I find the Agenda critiques hilarious; I get you don't like being mocked for voting for Trump or Brexit or whatever strain of stupidity du jour cause you preferred, but have you never actually paid attention to their catalogue? They've always been a political group, they consistently write political...

I do have own 4k HDR tv set. No, it's not a separate issue. Still not much of a difference to me.
It's a completely separate issue, because 4K refers to picture resolution and HDR refers to color gamut. It's like every post you make is an own goal.

Fact is I don't see much difference between 2k and 4k.
Your response only underlines that you don't know what you're talking about, because my post was discussing HDR. That's a completely separate issue.

Re: "It Couldn't Happen Here" on DVD

Not massive, tiny difference esp. in dark imagery. Absolutely massive, actually, to the point that Hollywood studios still aren't set up for a native 4K color pipeline because the delta in color gamut is so huge compared to 2K P3 theatrical colorspace and HD home video specs like rec709. This is wh...

There's virtually no difference between 2k and 4k. Standard bluray is good enough for me.
There is little difference in picture quality. There is an absolutely massive difference in dynamic range for color. A film like 'It Couldn't Happen Here' would benefit enormously from 4K HDR.

Re: 3rd single "Monkey Business" (Jan 2020)

Monkey Business is a great single choice - it's the first PSB single in literally decades that has piqued the interest of non-fans around me (USA). I've been asked a few times now who it's by, and had a few "What's this, it's great!" comments as well. I understand why some fans might be disappointed...

You seriously believe it's out of the question that they used to date? Just because they denied it?
It's not out of the question that you are a furry. That doesn't justify the assumption that you are, without evidence to support the claim.

Re: Decide (Burning the Heather b-side)

For crying out loud! They probably wrote the song before the Brexit. Stop politicising a simple love song. The lyrics don't even make sense from a Brexit perspective. t's more likely the song is about Chris and Neil breaking up soon after they'd met the first time. Hence the duet. What a strange pe...

Re: Decide (Burning the Heather b-side)

Exactly. I may understand UK people seeing Brexit innuendos fuming out of every pot, but for the rest of the world Decide is just a vivid song about keeping love relationships up. Some of us have an awareness of global current events, including those in an artist's home country. "What have we done"...

Legacy is a good song but almost everyone was moaning about it.
The circus music bit in the middle kills the vibe.

My advice would be not to post lyrics/spoilers on the f*****g post.
You're in a spoiler thread.

Re: Hotspot - Forum Reactions.

Thanks for the review. I don't think I've been this excited for an album since Bilingual (which unfortunately fell flat for me after Very/Relentless).

Maybe needing to remove the album reviews as they appear to be alerting folk to the possibility of a leak.
The reviews do nothing of the sort, because it wasn't a leak. It was a standard industry stream, which anyone in media can request.

Re: Burning the heather

'Burning The Heather' reminds me of 'The Next Day' late Davie Bowie era tracks - knowingly reflective and honest. I could imagine Bowie singing this from the moment I heard it. An utterly gorgeous song that once again shines a light on the most insipid parts of fandom. I get it, we all love high BP...
