Do we have confirmation Stuart Price produced it?
Yes, you can clearly see it in the photo of the back of the vinyl package, was posted here a while ago.

Re: Decide (Burning the Heather b-side)

Just don't get why they haven't put it on the album! :? Geez, imagine you've heard Where The Streets Have No Name (Can't Take My Eyes Off You) before you've heard a sound from Behaviour - you'd ask the same, wouldn't you? But after hearing Behaviour you'd realize it would sound totally out of place...

Re: Decide (Burning the Heather b-side)

Doesn't sound like an album track to me. Sounds more like a stand-alone epic artists used to release in the 80s. *not that I would know, I was born in the year of Very* P.S. For now Decide is to me THE era-defining epic in the same way Axis/Vocal were for the Electric-era or the way The P...

Re: Decide (Burning the Heather b-side)

I wonder whether PSB considered Decide for the final track on HotSpot? It feels like the perfect climax, much as Integral was for Fundamental. How can you know, not having heard the album? Maybe it's an album for which a more relaxed ending is fitting..guess we'll just have to wait and find out? :s...

I need more time to process Decide. It's quite a mixed bag musically. Hasn't really grabbed me yet.
It's time... to make up your mind.

Re: Burning the heather

The opening strings (or whatever they are) remind me a lot of Into Thin Air, whereas the percussive breaks are very reminiscent of Go West. Can't get enough of this at the moment, like it even more than An Open Mind.

Re: Hotspot Limited Edition

Is the 2xCD exclusive to the OS or do you think it'll be available in shops on release day as well? Really trying to go the old-school way this time, buying it physically on the release date - hopefully I don't miss out on instrumental goodies (always liked to listen to them, some melodies and littl...

Re: Burning the heather

Can't wait for this now, one of the most anticipated B-sides in the last decade. Hopefully the remix is listenable, as well.

Re: Burning the heather

Decide is indeed produced by Stuart Price. So another leftover from the album, it seems. If it's as half as good as An Open Mind, this will be more than enough to get us through to January 24.

Re: The New Album Info Thread

So, just to sort of "brag".. I'll probably be in London for a pre-Brexit holiday, from January 20th until the 24th. Can't wait to buy this in a record store over there on Friday, it will feel so authentic (somehow) . 😁 Good luck finding one of London’s few remaining endangered record stores! Maybe ...

Re: Obsessed with anything unreleased?

I'll never regret the fact that there's no proper release of the Electric Tour, especially the One More Chance mash-up and the explosive I'm Not Scared version.
