Never mind the completely overrated Electronic, when are we going to get the debut album by Absolutely Fabulous?

Re: The New Album Info Thread

Behaviour, like Being Boring, is definitely overrated these days. I'd argue it's their best album, but it was ignored by many fans back in the day. I was 18 when it came out, which made me a sitting duck for its poignant coming of age tales and melancholic ruminations on youth. Being Boring is simi...

Re: Dreamland / No Boundaries CD single - October

Can't wait for nickname's inevitable poll - which title from the three we have is your favorite?! Which remix are you looking forward to the most? Do you think PSB should include more B-sides, yes or no? and so on. Should Pet Shop Boys include a remix done by themselves on every future single relea...

Re: DREAMWORLD TOUR

Just seen that Simple Minds are doing a similar thing, which includes "a career-spanning compilation of their era-defining hits and fan favourites". Clearly, Ver Minds' definition of a hit is rather generous as they've supposedly been having forty years of them. I wonder how strict PSB's definition ...

Thank you Radio 2. If you didn't exist, PSB's new songs wouldn't get airplay in UK.
If Radio 2 was the only radio station in the UK, PSB's new songs would be number one.

The lost single

With the current 50th anniversary of Abbey Road, I am reminded that Here Comes the Sun was never released as a single in the UK. This seems preposterous - I've been aware of it my whole life from airplay and it is The Fabs' most popular track on Spotify with just the 360 million plays to date. It's ...

At least, Chris still really loves Before and it was a top 10 in UK. :shhh:
It will be interesting to see if So Hard gets an outing as he certainly is no fan of that.

Why is 35 suddenly an anniversary of note? No one outside of the desperate moribund world of physical music marketing celebrates the 35th anniversary of anything. It's an ugly number. They did nothing for the 30th anyway
They're five years nearer the end now.

Re: DREAMWORLD TOUR

Why is everyone assuming that there even will be a Greatest Hits album? Have I missed some news somewhere? I don't see why a GH tour assumes an accompanying compilation release really. I think there definitely will be. The re-release of the books, the mysterious tweeted photos, the ‘greatest hits’ ...
