No, that’s not what I was saying at all.NotInvisible wrote: ↑Mon 11 Feb 2019, 8:01 pmWhat could be more snowflake than creating a thread to whine about the fact that Neil has a platform other than one's Internet safe space? Irony indeed.

Because language is protean, it’s always fascinating to see how new word meanings evolve.
I actually think that ‘snowflake’ is a perfect word to describe a certain sensibility. How typical of snowflakes to object to such a term!

I had also never realised that Andy Bell sang on the Let It Be charity single; so he had number ones with both Beatles and Abba cover versions.

The irony of Agenda
If Neil had posted about these issues on here, they'd have been moved to the part of the forum where snowflakes daren't venture.

He always was a massive Pethead. Nice to see that he's lasted the course.

Re: New EP on April: Agenda
There's a lot to be pleased about with this new EP - but what on earth has happened to Neil's lyric writing. There are terrible, embarrassingly bad lyrics in all of the songs. Cat....hat, waiting...anticipating level. And some of the lyrics just don't scan. I'm hoping that these songs were tossed o...

No, not at all. I do think that if I weren't a fan, I'd find Neil incredibly annoying though.SynthMan Wales wrote: ↑Fri 08 Feb 2019, 7:41 amDo you find that it affects your fandom and appreciation of the music though? Genuine, open question.

Re: New EP on April: Agenda
Isn't it true that most people believe themselves to be right when it comes to political views they espouse? After all, why would one publicly advocate a position that one didn't believe in? Neil has an inordinate degree of certainty that he's right, even in the case of a volte face like Iraq. He's...

Re: New EP on April: Agenda
My main issue with Neil's politics is that he automatically assumes that he's right, whether that's the war in Iraq or Brexit. So when he supported the invasion, he would have assumed that anyone disagreeing with him was wrong and vice versa. Everyone has convictions but these issues are rarely pure...

So I assume that the oligarch they did the private show for pays all his tax then.
