Re: One off concert at Royal Albert Hall in 2017

It was an incredible concert, quite magical at times. :) I did feel that they could have at least added one or two new songs, these were all songs they'd performed with orchestras before. But still, it was a fantastic setlist. My highlight was Tonight is Forever - the orchestra arrangements really e...

Re: One off concert at Royal Albert Hall in 2017

I am really looking forward to this, it's basically the concert I've always wanted them to do!

I have ended up with a spare ticket next to me in the stalls which I am trying to sell at face value for £84, is anyone interested? Going with 2 other friends who are sitting in the disabled section.

Re: A four-hour version of It's a Sin

I think it was just the single mix of It's a Sin looped but I may be wrong. It did include the intro and middle eight. It was great to hear all the layers that create that great atmosphere, especially in the middle eight with all the sound effects, choir etc. I found it quite a fascinating experienc...

Re: Is "Literally" going to be discontinued?

I'm so glad Literally is continuing. :) It makes sense to change it to an annual publication too. It's still a real shame that the rest of the fanclub (ie. just the Christmas card really) is discontinuing though - I'd be very interested to know the reasons for this. It was a great PSB tradition and ...

Re: Natural wonders every child should know

That's my favourite part too! Really beautiful music and I was thinking yesterday how much I like that riff specifically as well (the tinkly keyboard parts). Very pretty and very PSB.

The book is very quaint and amusing to read.

Yeah, the thought of hearing a massive orchestral arrangement of vocal is very exciting. It should really bring out its beautiful and very emotional quality.

Re: tired of seeing them live

It may be a joke, but it doesn`t work - from technical reasons, especially - and it looks cheap... the projected body is often misplaced, from what I saw on Youtube. But I so like the "tinsel monsters" jumping on pogo sticks and the hedgehog jackets too. Maybe there have been too much Es ...

Re: tired of seeing them live

As much as I appreciate them live, I still have a suggestion: they should sack the person who came up with the idea of the "beds" for "Love etc." ... No way, that's one of my favourite parts of the show! Completely disagree with everyone who doesn't like it, it's obviously meant...

Re: Is

I want to add my support for Literally and the fanclub. It will be a great shame to see it discontinued, particularly elements of it like the Christmas cards. It's these kinds of things that make PSB and the experience of being a fan unique and special. It's also often the only place we get to read ...

Re: "THURSDAY": The most commercial PSB song in a very long

Love the sound of Thursday from that video! Very catchy, melodic and 80s-sounding with a good groove. I'm also very happy to hear a new PSB song with spoken parts. I love Vocal too. Really excited about this album! So I'm not the only one. Not at all! But I didn't get that impression before either....

Re: Axis in full

Just had a thought. Perhaps the reason it's called Axis is because lasers look like lines on a graph. Therefore the music is the axis because it's the basis for all of it. The video looks like it could kind of be suggesting that. People dance to music in a club and everything revolves around it. Ju...
