The Walliams interview is actually pretty good. Love the fact Chris had an xr3i. Boy racer indeed

Re: New EP on April: Agenda

A phobia is an irrational fear, given the number of atrocious acts carried out in the name of Islam that fear isn't unwarranted. Before people get all Owen Jones, that obviously doesn't mean anyone who holds the view a majority (or even significant minority) of Muslims condone such acts aren't compl...

Re: New EP on April: Agenda

I think Chris has a far more pragmatic view of the world. When Neil was railing against Brexit in an recent Annually Chris just said 'I like chang' the nauseating thing about this EP is the idea of democracy losing its way when Brexit and Trump are examples of democracy going against the elite, for ...

Re: New EP on April: Agenda

It's also interesting to see the forum reactionaries accuse Neil of becoming detached from reality in his old age. None of these songs express political perspectives that haven't been in Pet Shop Boys' DNA from day one, and to pretend otherwise is a spectacular own goal on the back of a song called...

Disappointing that Neil has been recording the album outside the EU.....
Strange that, as I'm sure he was one of those signatories to the pompous open letter from assorted artistes implying that as a result of Brexit artistic creativity will cease and we will be roaming in a cultural wasteland

Re: 2019 Pet Shop Boys News: "Inner Sanctum DVD, touring, new album"

Perfectly summed up above. It's a release predominantly for a limited, physical collecting biased fanbase. In the same way some people seemed surprise it wasn't released in time for xmas, even if it was available in supermarkets it wasn't going to be chucked in the trolley along with the turkey, cra...

Re: 2019 Pet Shop Boys News: "Inner Sanctum DVD, touring, new album"

I don't for a moment imagine this release is now going to be cancelled at this stage. The vast majority of the cost related to this release would be the hiring of the director and camera crew, and possibly payment to ROH. Pressing of DVDs would be insignificant in comparison. A release of on blu ray...

Re: The New Album Info Thread

It is an album in its own right. Never understood why it’s regarded as anything else, let alone when it’s referred to as a remix album

Re: Royal Opera House Shows DVD

Evidently not, otherwise so many wouldn’t still be released. A well filmed live concert sound wise and visually destroys almost anything you’d find on YouTube.

Re: BBC4 Top of the Pops Repeats

Just watched it, Chris hadn’t quite mastered the art of standing still while playing the keyboards at this point. Just wait till the next single's appearance..... I absolutely LOVE that performance of Opportunities :D I love the fact he drops the drumstick and then chucks the other one to mak...

Re: *Post ROH Spoilers Here ONLY..*

Looking at it right now, I would like most, if not all "Electric" and "Super" tracks to make it. Basically, as little overlap with Pandemonium as possible. Just a couple of "necessary" hits. Imagine how brave it would be not to include "West End girls" for once. I'd be quite happy with such a track...
