Re: Dreamland / No Boundaries CD single - October

I look forward to combining the TWD dub and vocal to make a proper 9 minute mix 👌🏻

Electric was brilliantly cohesive, critically acclaimed, and completely works as a whole.

Re: PSB EDINBURGH MUSICAL SHOW

Absolutely loved the track. Great vibe, whispery sultry vocals, and fantastic groove. Sort of remotely reminded me of "I'm in love with a German film star." 8)

Re: Of course it might just be me........

...just like New Order did with Music Complete. Super could've been a double-album, wonder why PSB never dared to issue a double album. If PSB want to do 3 minute pop they should give their songs to biy/girl bands to perform. ^^ This! Music Complete was one of New Order's best albums in ages, and t...

Re: Why do PSB use a cover version like a closing song in concerts and they never have used "Suburbia" for that?

Vocal is a perfect closer, especially with a long instrumental outro. https://youtu.be/5tS_6Febmig "Vocal" is a song nobody know, except harcore PSB fans (not even casual PSB fans know it) and I don't think it is a good as "Suburbia". "Vocal" is basically like "It's Alright", which is not a PSB son...

Re: New EP in April: Agenda

I think the most shocking thing about this thread is the fact that some of these people posting are actual massive fans of Pet Shop Boys...so much so that they are on this Forum. I completely understand and welcome differing educated viewpoints and political perspectives, but I'm beyond perplexed th...

Re: New EP on April: Agenda

Something I've been thinking about with Agenda is how the release strategy of the 4 tracks has impacted the way each song has been perceived and digested. Given a new song came out each day for 4 days (and of course with biting lyrics and controversial subjects), each song was given its own platform...

Re: New EP on April: Agenda

IMO this EP doesnt make sense as a release so fairly close to a upcoming full CD release which in the scheme of things isnt all that far off. I feel these songs save for rich are TOTALLY worthy of being on the actual next album. so why didnt they just wait? it suggests they must have really wanted ...

Re: New EP on April: Agenda

TFC could be one of their most compelling and haunting tracks and lyrics in ages. I’ve read the lyrics several times and each time yields different forlorn, introspective feelings...wow. I’d love a 6+ minute version.

Re: New EP on April: Agenda

As for ballads, "Wiedersehen" was a pretty recent one? Yep, you're right. Anyway it'd be rather refreshing to hear a slower song right now (which is fun, as I remember being fed up with ballads around 2012-2013...) Agreed. Wiedersehen was an emotional and welcomed shift from the shiny-electronic Su...

Re: New EP on April: Agenda

It's also interesting to see the forum reactionaries accuse Neil of becoming detached from reality in his old age. None of these songs express political perspectives that haven't been in Pet Shop Boys' DNA from day one, and to pretend otherwise is a spectacular own goal on the back of a song called...
