Re: In conversation

So populism is stupidity because it's a different point of view to your own? Populism has a specific definition; Neil is correct. We are craving for more lessons from the illuminated ones! Updating a couplet from a probably known pop duo: "You're an intellectual giant, an authority to preach and te...

the big silence

What do you think about this long period of relative silence from the boys?
No tour news, no album news, no FL announcements...
They're currently working on the new songs at the moment, maybe we'll get some fat news all together?

Only speculation...

Re: The Catalogue Interviews - Julian Mendelsohn answers questions from forum members

Their single choices went off a cliff from 1994 onwards, with the odd moment of brilliance being the exception rather than the rule, sadly. I think they lost momentum in 1994. Rather than releasing five singles off Very, they should have kept it to four at a maximum and released a brand new standal...

Re: Showing some love for Construct

As I wrote before in another theard about this track: it is a very lazy composition. I mean I thought it was very good and I still do but after hearing the original track I discovered that it is no more than a hi-energy cover with very little from the PSB. What makes the difference are Neil's lyrics.

No: "but I thought in spite of dreams
you'd be sitting somewhere here with me" is devastating.

Ok, I voted yes but was influenced but the fact that I'm italian. In Italy I'm not scared was a huge success and even today is remembred as one of the best songs of the 80's. So probably I'm wrong . BTW I'ts a Sin, Domino Dancing, Paninaro and Go West were huge in Italy. Strangely West End Girls and...

The only rational thing is to release a full box set. Exploitation maximized.
I'm hoping so, at least.

Being from a kids play that's pretty obvious.
Oh not so obivious. I wrote that was an accurate example of targeting because my only and very little stats population made up of 2 children often refuse what is intended to be "for children".

So N&C has good skills with junior entertainment.

Re: Reissues project

Both my children enjoy maniacally the Dumpling Song.
They keep on repeat: "gnocchi, gnocchi again gnocchi" on loop.

This should be a great example of targeting.

Re: "What is Super?"

Musically it doesn't remotely sound like Axis. The up scaling arpeggio is driving you off.
Sounds like Axis because of the production, but the chord progression sounds more like Together.
