Re: Recording of DJ Culture and Was It Worth It?

Greetings, (Since the questions on the timing of the recording of these tracks has already been addressed...) I love DJ Culture and its unique sound... I cannot think of anything else like it - PSB, Brothers In Rhythm, or otherwise. It will forever be in my PSB Top 10. I do like Was It Worth It? and...

Re: Sophie Ellis Bextor - It’s a Sin

Greetings, Well, this thread went sideways fast for no reason. Is nobody entitled to an opinion on this forum? No. How dare you. In 2021, if you don't like something, it's hate speech and you deserve to be cancelled. As for Sophie, she's cool, even though my interest in her output dropped quic...

Re: PSB vs Daft Punk

Greetings, They had some good singles, but not a lot off their albums really did it for me. Digital Love always seemed a bit of an under-rated gem. And since this is supposedly as "vs PSB" topic, I'll just say that Daft Punk were pretty schmick with the production skills and knob-twiddling...

Re: Do you think I Want a Dog was planned to be a single?

Greetings, TSOTAS is divisive. Personally I'm a fan of it because its so f'ing mental, but I dont think it would have fared well on an album as an opener. It's quite an oddity. Good summary... and honestly, there isn't anything I'd change about Introspective. And as great as I Get Excited is, it has...

Re: Pet Shop Boys Discord

Greetings, I can't really believe this sort of thing is happening in 2021 :D . So reminiscent of the good old 00s when forums like this were breeding and flourishing. Dudes (and madams too!) who didn't like the politics of a forum would buy hosting service, install their own forum — create "riv...

Greetings,

Weird commercial, but unexpectedly ace to hear PSB in such a capacity.

Alternatively, a box set called Decades... one disc for each. They were prolific enough in the 80's to offset any late start to their recording career.

Re: DREAMWORLD Greatest Hits Tour RESCHEDULED until 2022

Greetings, In terms of compilations, at this point, only a complete singles Discography makes any sense. A chronological single by single journey through the career of the Pet Shop Boys. The dizzying heights and ambivalent lows, in order, as experienced along the journey. An A-sides equivalent of Al...

Re: DREAMWORLD Greatest Hits Tour RESCHEDULED until 2022

Greetings, I don't think you've gone far enough. We should stop all events until we can guarantee there will never be any viruses ever ever again. May 2022, I expect we will be on the thirtieth strain by then. Humour aside, I sympathize with anyone trying to book anything with any degree of ce...

Good news, although as usual I'm more excited about the 2CDs, so I'm thankful they're included in the package.

Yes, the rip-offs are blatant - of both Always On My Mind and It's A Sin.

Reminds me a bit of the Pound Shop Boys.
