Re: Hotspot: 1 year old today

I think it all comes down to this is a band in its 5th decade still making music that is worth digging into. And they still know how to write melodies. Hell, Paul McCartney hasn't written a decent melody since like 1982 or something. I really have no idea how they do it to be honest. I really love t...

Re: Discovery 1994 - DVD/CD-Release

I'm just surprised that this is coming out. The whole dvd vs blu-ray argument regarding something that was shot on SD video seems a bit over the top though. You'd be surprised what properly restored, properly upscaled SD video looks like with better compression and higher bit rates. It'll never be ...

I think it's a really solid album, a step up from Super, and the B sides were uniformly excellent as well.

Re: Discovery 1994 - DVD/CD-Release

While I would love to see a restored MCMLXXXIX, they definitely should not crop it to 16:9. It wasn't filmed in that aspect ratio and doing that would lose like 30% of the picture.

Please stop with the ignorance. They literally had to relax the air quality rules here in L.A. because there were too many cremations. Let that sink in.

No one speculates about this, it's obvious to anyone with a brain that they are not lovers.

Also obvious to anyone paying attention at the time (by Actually at least) is that fact that they are gay.

A little off subject, but the show Atypical which is about a character with autism is a really nice binge watch show. Not sure how accurate it is, but I really enjoyed it.

Re: Why Don't We Live Together? (New York 12'' Dance Mix #2)

Excellent, always wondered why it wasn't a single, always been one of my favorite songs from Please. And those extra vocal lines at the end haven't been on anything else before have they? So, either a long lost mix, or someone created it from stolen or found multis (doubtful).

If they were going to put the wrong version on, then I'm glad they picked this one. Much better than the "hit" 7" version.

Re: "Winner" - the love and hate battle of this forum

I don't particularly like the weird harmony by Neil with himself. Wondering if a more straightforward rendition would have worked (either octaves or with another singer). I do like the bridge and the key change is kindy cheesy but fun in a way.
