Appearantly standards have been lowered to using stock photos now.
A stock photo is perfect for this EP, actually. It's like modern art.

Neil has an inordinate degree of certainty that he's right, even in the case of a volte face like Iraq. He's a zealot.
See no real reason/evidence for the extreme label of zealot.

He has opinions, so what.

Re: Any insight...

Maybe they just wanted to mix it up a bit.

Three albums in a row, after all.

Palette cleanser before the final course?

Re: New EP on April: Agenda

The Forgotten Child is a harrowing and mysterious ending..... I can only assume it ties into the whole bleak societal exploration.... a child championed for a cause but forgotten in the shallowness of it all.... "borders", "computer records", "brutal" times.... it's nothing but creepy and poignant A...

Yes :) Neil always takes us on little journeys with every album

(But ignore him when he says "ass" instead of "arse")

West End Girls

Neil being elitist with his opinions about class and history. Ramming it down our throats as always.

Also he rhymes “stone” with “home”, which is very simplistic.

Re: New EP on April: Agenda

Tax the rich to death until they go out of business and have no capital to invest anymore in businesses to create jobs. Even if you confiscated all the capital the so-called rich have, government would spend it within a few months. Neil sounds more and more like Bono and Mao. Must be his silver age...

Re: New EP on April: Agenda

One thing does occur to me. They both fit a particular type of PSB song that would make good show tunes..... I mean, I could image a passage of dialog and drama before both these tracks, wrapped up and summarised by a song, before the lights fade for the next scene. I guess you could say this about ...

Re: New EP on April: Agenda

Sorry but I still can't accept the pronunciation of "ass" over "arse".

Un-fecking-forgivable.

On the plus side..... loving both these tracks.

Most cringe-worthy song they have ever made?

"But I guess nobody knew what Blair knew... if he was more honest people would be able to more accurately support him or not"......millions didn't support Blair and their protests fell on deaf ears. But yet Neil takes to the streets and demands a 'People's Vote' regarding Brexit. I find his hypocri...

Re: New EP on April: Agenda

I'm relieved to hear Neil finally say the word "chicks" out in the open. Also why didn't he say "Arse" instead of the American "Ass"..... I guess because half the song seems to be about America. He could easily of pronounced "Class" as "Clarse", then rhymed it with "Arse". As a proper English gent w...

People can change their minds when the truth comes out.

Neil has never positioned himself as an oracle?

Re: New EP on April: Agenda

If anything the lyrics fit America more than UK, anyway.

Brexit folks can rest, til the next track.
